They fired their coach.

They've got an interim coach with Lorne Donaldson as this coaching sporting director.

A lot of chaos around this team, so a victory has to feel pretty good.

They had only scored nine goals the whole year, and they put up three in one game.

On to more NWSL news here, Chicago Stars fired head coach Martin Hogren last week after obviously poor results through 18 games, where the team had only won 4 games and lost 13, including a minus-24 goal differential.

Assistant coach Karina Baez will take over as interim coach for the remainder of the season, and former head coach Lorne Donaldson would return as a, quote, "interim director of coaching." So one more change here for Chicago Stars, and it's been tough for them, obviously, in the la- not even as of late, Jeff.

So how surprised were you to see this news?

I mean, I think this...

They, they need a coach that's gonna stick around.

I mean, they brought back Lorne Donaldson in this interim director of coaching role that they've kinda created.

I mean, they've got a lot of interesting interim roles at the moment.

Uh, not only did they announce that they were parting ways with their, uh, head coach and first assistant, they were gonna rotate some things.

Uh, Karina Báez is now the interim head coach, and they've also brought back former head coach Lorne Donaldson in a different role.

Uh, he's interim, uh, head of coaching.

And so there were a lot of changes there, and that also included, um, some personnel changes as well.
