I will highlight one really fun experience from this first couple of months.

I was able to hike about 10 miles of the trail in Pennsylvania with the First Lady of Pennsylvania, Lori Shapiro.

It was a wonderful day, and I think it brings home the power of the trail because it was a moment away from life.

all of our work you know that the computer the conference room and an opportunity to connect with her at a level we never could have connected on during a meeting across a conference table really getting to know each other um really getting to show her the trail uh we were lucky enough to run into one of our ridge runners while we were out that day so she got to see atc at work she got to see the power and importance of our ridge runners i think they are You can't even highlight what a great asset our Ridge Runners are.

Philadelphia Police Department is launching a program to support safer interactions between officers and people with special needs.

Mayor Sherrell Parker, Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel, and Pennsylvania First Lady Lori Shapiro announced the Blue Envelope program today at City Hall.

Drivers with autism, sensory or cognitive challenges, or hearing impairment can receive a distinct blue envelope to keep in their vehicles.

They would present that to an officer during a traffic stop or encounter with police.

New Jersey also found a number of champions, including former state first lady Tammy Murphy, who helped to get legislation passed for a universal program.
