Lord John Grey

Uh-huh.

I guess it was interesting to me to see Lord John's father and how like they are kind of similar in that Lord John leans towards sympathetic people.

And doing the right thing.

But he is also a seasoned soldier and a leader.

Outlander.

But there's like, like, in the Lord John Gray stories, this matters.

So it's very interesting and exciting for people who love Lord John Gray, to now meet his dad and be like, Oh, are we gonna like delve into some cool things?

Yeah, I think the Lord John aspect of this is really cool.

And it didn't feel super cameo-y as sometimes as Outlanders...

All right.

Anything else that you would like to talk about for this episode? I'm just so

excited to be hanging out with Lord John Gray's dad.

Mm-hmm.

And Ellen is talking to her about Murtaugh and he's like, she's, and she's drawing a comparison between how do you feel about Murtaugh watching you versus John Cameron watching you? And

I

was like, yeah.

They

were facing the back of my skull.

When was John Cameron looking at Grace ever before last episode? She's making it sound like It's a thing

that everyone knows.

my God.

Gerard Grey, which I have to say, not to bring everything back to the Lord John series, but it was a thrill to see my boy in real life.

Yeah.

It's really exciting.

a player in the books? I wanted to ask you that.

He's

a player in the books massively because the Brotherhood of the Blade is basically the journey of Lord John trying to figure out who killed his father.

So there's a lot of talk about his dad and who he was and that he was a suspected Jacobite and that he was all of these things.

Oh, my God.

Imagine if Lord John was there.

Could you imagine how fantastic that wedding would have been if Lord John was able to help plan it?

Well, he's like, he's not even

alive.
