But the same cannot be said for our next victim on the list, who's arguably more obsessed with Eminem than some of his most fanatical stans.

I'm of course talking about Lord Jamar.

Jamar made his name in hip-hop as part of the group Brand Newbian.

A conscious rap crew from the 90s who are all about politically charged lyrics and black empowerment.

From the outset, Jamar has always seen himself as a gatekeeper of the culture.

So for him, the concept of a white guy from Detroit like Eminem being recognized as one of the GOATs just couldn't fly.

And during his many many interviews on VladTV, he's made it clear that Eminem lives in his brain rent free.

Could it be explained? I know at the time, you know, a lot of people in hip hop, black people might've looked at Will Smith as kind of corny and like very straight laced type of hip hop, but that's for us to do.

It's a great trio.
