Look Back

It kind of goes into sort of Union Strikes and that kind of thing, but it's primarily a very human story.

And then speaking of that, the new Corrida movie Look Back, which others might know as they made a short animated... movie about it which is uh two like uh women two young girls who like uh start making a manga together uh and form a friendship and that movie is beautiful and i saw people who had seen the original uh uh read the original and the anime adaptation and they were all happy with that I would look out for both of those.

I think that they're both going to be on major streaming services and getting a limited release.

But I'm pretty sure Possible Love will be on Netflix in early November.

It is a

monumental waste of time.

It makes me look back at the Texas Chainsaw and... friday 13th remakes in in a much kinder light and i like the remake of friday 13th i'm not big on the 2003 remake i think i agree i don't like

any of those two

Some of that will be covered in Fan Questions, which is part of Bail Back Monday.

Before we get to all of that, though, I love to always look back before we look ahead.

What have you all been watching this past week? Dan, we can start off with you.

What have you been up to?

I see what you did there, Matt.

Look back? Yes.

You know me so well.

I know.

And Yeah, so I have a couple of movies to recommend.

One of them is the 2024 film Look Back, adapted from the Tatsuki Fujimoto one-shot manga of the same name, released over here by GKids.

You can get it in a nice collector's edition 4K release that I just got last week or so.

Very beautiful, very highly recommended.

And the other movie that I have to recommend is the 2026 movie Look Back, adapted from the Tatsuki Fujimoto one-shot manga of the same name, released over here by GKids.

You'll be able to see that in theaters pretty soon.

Hell yeah.

Nice.
