So when I visited Longleat House that summer and saw the Grey Lady again it really took me back.

I couldn't help but smile to myself and see a little sign.

After all those years of friendship and sharing that strange childhood experience together it felt like Alex was right there standing beside me seeing the very same Grey Lady we'd seen all those years ago.

I would say 10%, but who am I to argue? I haven't crunched the numbers, so to speak.

Within that 20%, haunted Longleat Castle in England.

Yeah, Longleat.

This has my entire life.

okay hi my name is mark barton hill lifelong doctor who fan like aren't we all and i met sophie probably at longleat house for the first time because i used to work in the doctor who exhibition there Not many people now remember that there was a huge Doctor Who attraction at Longleat House.

Long gone.

But I managed to salvage a few things from there and I love displaying them now.

I always used to get told off because I'd take them apart.

I wanted to see with my inquiring mind what was inside or what they were made of.

And then my grandparents used to take us to Longleat because they liked wildlife.

So, of course, we ended up going to the Doctor Who exhibition while we were there.
