This is a continuing trend as land-zoned agricultural and forestry moves to rural residential.

Of the requests before the board this week, one changed about 40 acres of agricultural and forestry land to rural residential in Long Lake Township.

The applicants wanted to divide the parcel in two, which prompted the rezoning request.

A second request came from Nokay Lake Township.
