I think they did really well to exploit the space there.

in behind Brazil in terms of the back three the space down the wide areas they were having a lot of joy down there whether it was down the right side in terms of like Eleanor Klinger getting a space to run into or down the left which is that Masawi Maltby link up and then like the midfield the central players helping out so Lola I noticed that Lola Brown was you know working really well with Rachel down that left side they obviously know each other very well they've played each with each other for a long time so I think there were some really pleasing aspects of England's play it was the best the first 45 I think was their best performance in this World Cup so far they could have had more goals I think Brazil were always dangerous on the transition as they will always be but England were managing them quite well I think when they were attacking forward they were keeping them out wide and the players were actually occupied by the players in the central area.

So it just meant that they were delivering crosses in.

They weren't really able to try and penetrate directly through the middle.
