Loguetown

To understand how this season tackles the madness of the Grand Line, we have to look at the literal threshold, which, um, ironically happens to be the lowest ranked arc of the season.

Loguetown.

We are talking about Loguetown, yeah.

Now, Loguetown operates as a strange structural anomaly in this list.

Because it's technically from the previous saga, right?

Exactly.

Oh man, Bartolomeo is essentially this violent super fan.

He represents the in-universe legacy of Luffy's actions.

Yes.

Do you remember anything that was in Roguetown or Logetown that was not in the anime?

Whoa, you're putting me on the spot.

Absolutely no.

[laughs] And soon after that, I love how Sabo's like, uh, I, I haven't...

Roguetown, I have always...

I've always gone with Loguetown.

I like-

It, it ha-

Um-

It has been L- uh, Roguetown in, in the, the Viz translation since the start, so, you know, it's consistent.

But yeah.

Yeah,

so that sword that he got from the shopkeeper in Roguetown, which we just watched in the Season 2 of Live Action, that's the sword that got rusted.

Oh, damn.

Out of the way! And it's the Frankie family party.

We locked arms so often, I began to remember some faces among his crew.

What happened to that funny red-nosed kid with you? Did he get killed? Oh, you mean Buggy? That brings back a lot of memories.

On the day the captain was executed to be part of Waze at Roguetown, we've never met since.

Come with me, Buggy! I'm not going to work under you, you idiot! I heard rumors that he's still a pirate.

It varies from place to place.

Like Roguetown is very much a official Viz translation decision.

Yes.

Whereas Logetown is what it's usually called in like the subs and the dubs of the anime and what they usually say.
