They have planes.

You can be living in Miami and you can actually get to a game in Logan, Utah, and you can referee there and make your 1500 or two grand a

game or whatever they're paying.

I mean, it used to be a really, really lucrative thing.

All first responders and community members gathered this morning to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks and the special Honor Guard ceremony.

The commemoration was held at 9 o'clock on the south side of the Logan Police Department building.

Logan City Police Chief Jeff Simmons said the ceremony included bagpipes, ringing of the bell, a 21-gun salute, and also taps.

made up of members of the Cache County Sheriff's Office and the Logan City Fire and Police Departments.

Now, coming up later tonight, the Logan City Fire Department, in collaboration with the USU Department of Public Safety and USU Veterans Resource Office, will be hosting the 25th anniversary 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb at Merlin Olsen Field on the USU campus.

Now, the stair climb will run from 6 to 9 o'clock to honor the 2,977 lives that were lost on September 11th and also pay tribute to the first responders who climbed the World Trade Center towers to try to save others.

Now, registration for the climb opens at the stadium tonight at 5 o'clock.

Tonight, overnight temps will drop into the low 50s to high 40s.

He's got coaching experience at Select, which is a club basketball program here out of Idaho.

And now at Ridgeline High School, he's the varsity basketball coach in Logan, Utah.

So we're going to be talking about that in the interview.

So, Derek, you've got some Idaho ties right now.

You're the high school basketball coach at Ridgeline High School in Logan, Utah.

So northern Utah, for those who might not be familiar with how the state runs, but that's not too far from where you grew up.

And finally, the Clearfield City Council has voted unanimously to enact a 180-day moratorium on data center developments to study their potential impacts on local infrastructure and resources.

The 5-0 vote makes Clearfield now the latest Utah municipality to pause such projects following similar actions that were done here in Logan and Box Elder County.

While no data centers are currently being proposed in Clearfield, city officials introduced the temporary ban to establish zoning definitions and evaluate potential strains on water consumption, electricity demand, and noise levels.

Now, Mayor Mark Shepard says that it's good to look at emerging issues like this and to know what impact it might have on their city.

Downtown Logan will be hosting nearly 2,000 cyclists tomorrow morning for the 44th annual Logan to Jackson Hole bicycle race.

Known as Lodija, the event is the longest one-day USA Cycling-sanctioned event in the country.

I have some information that listeners have been asking about left and right.

Logan residents specifically have been asking me to spend some time here on the show with people involved with both sides of deciding the future of the Little Logan River.

And for those who are not familiar, I've got some great information that I got from several different people on kind of where things are at.

and where you can see some of the draft plans, also where you can get involved, regardless of which side you fall on on this, because nothing has been decided for sure yet, but the stakes are pretty high with the future of the river.
