So like, like grandfathered liquor licenses going back to like the, the days of prostitution and, uh, um, smuggling booze in here, like during prohibition and stuff, you know, we had a lot of famous, uh, female madams down in, in Lodo down here in Denver.

Uh, one of them, uh, the bar that I, one of the bars I used to run, um, was was had a tunnel system that went to two three other bars that was run by a madam maddie james if you ever want to look her up she's one of the most famous madams in denver she also like was the first woman to sit on the denver city committee even back then and like she she had a lot of pull in this town um but you know a lot of a lot of restaurants have gone under a lot of those licenses have been lost and if you're familiar putting a license back on a property can't happen in fact these days good luck getting a liquor license

And, you know, we want to build strong communities again, especially in urban areas that have been beat up so poorly over since the pandemic.

So going back into those urban areas, I'm sitting here right in the heart of Lodo on Blake Street, ground zero for both the pandemic, but also ground zero for Denver.

I mean, this is two blocks from the train station, not even two blocks from Union Station, and two blocks from Coors Field and taking a space that was once forgotten and we're super pumped about it.

So can't wait to get it open.

So plenty of weird news this week.

The stories that didn't make it into the songs this week include the story from Denver, Colorado, the Lodo area, lower downtown, where neighbors there in lower downtown Denver want the city to crack down on unlicensed hot dog carts that sometimes explode.

They've had a huge boom, pardon the pun, in late-night street food demand there in Denver.

But, Nia, not all the hot dog carts are licensed, and some of them occasionally go...

Born and raised in Colorado, um, Coors Field is an absolutely beautiful park.

Lower downtown, LoDo if you will, Coors Field revitalized that entire area.

Uh, it used to be very dangerous until Coors Field went in.

And what is around Coors Field now with McGregor Square and all that stuff is incredibly impressive.

We licensed as a DBA's Flat Stick Pub and now we're again Tipsy Putt.

And I'm sitting here in Denver, Colorado, excited to announce that we're opening a new Tipsy Putt in Lodo, Denver here and very excited about that coming soon.

So what do you think the goal is for the brand? Is it a franchise in the
