Locust Point

So we have a beautiful promenade on the water that connects a ton of different neighborhoods.

But I'd probably start you guys off actually in Locust Point and we would take the free harbor connector, which is a free boat that we have, a commuter route on Monday to Friday.

So we get on that boat and we go over to Fell's Point, grab a coffee at 5.

Daily grind.

So I I would definitely have to take you to Patterson Park.

I feel like you could not leave Baltimore without doing a walk there.

And then third, I would probably take you on a walk starting at my house in Locust Point.

And we'd walk through our neighborhood to Fort McHenry.

And I would say the neighborhoods that are second level, second tier, you know, not water adjacent, but the next layer is also pretty expensive.

And based on the city policies and how things have been going in Baltimore, there are neighborhoods that are entirely gentrified, entirely renovated, and are, for instance, Locust Point, which is where Fort McHenry is located.

There are no derelict homes in that neighborhood.

There's no derelict homes within two neighborhoods of that place because that's a desirable place to be.

If not in Harbor Place, then other places in the city too, right? Like the rest of the waterfront has completely changed in the last 25 years.

You look down in like southeast Baltimore, kind of Canton area, that looks totally different than it looked five years ago, right? And back into, again, Federal Hill and Locust Point, like the places change because cities are living things that change.

And that's okay.

It's okay.

It was spread throughout by necessity, right? It was spread all throughout the waterfront downtown, but also into Port Covington.

I say by necessity because hearing the planning on it, every single place that they could dock a boat, they docked a boat.

If you were over in Locust Point, they doubled up.

They had to double up some boats.
