Lochranza

The NTS rangers say all you need to do is look around for the weather this summer.

There have been huge flocks of gulls off of Purmill, gulls diving and grabbing fish where people watch in amazement, and clouds of tiny copepods near the Lochranza pontoon.

All these clues point to an epic ocean feast developing in these vibrant waters off the Isle of Arran.

The warmer waters of this summer have set off a chain of events.
