Okay, so sports romance genre.

So this one, um, yes, it's called Cardinal Rule, like R-U-L-E, by Liz Tomforde, comes out November 3rd.

So she did this awesome sports series called the Windy City series.

So if you've seen it floating around on the romance, the first one's called Mile High, and then, uh, The Right Move, Caught Up, Play Along, Rewind It Back.

For me, obviously, like, I agree with Kayla, like, that's a great one.

I think of the time when Kayla and I got on our hands and knees and begged for you to read The Right Move by Liz Tomforde because, like-

So let's start by addressing the sheer gravity of the property itself because the numbers attached to Liz Tomforde's Windy City series are...

I mean, they're just staggering.

They are kind of hard to wrap your head around.

The origin is highly specific and authentic.

Like you mentioned at the top of the show, Tom Ford actually began writing Mile High while she was working as a flight attendant for a professional hockey team.

Which is just the coolest origin story.

We're also seeing a huge surge in stories where the professions are incredibly dangerous.

We see that vividly in Liz Tomforde's Windy City series.

The book Mile High is currently being developed as a TV series for Amazon MGM by Alison McDonald.

It follows a Chicago hockey player named Xanders, but his love interest isn't an athlete, it's Stevie, the flight attendant, who works on his team's private charter plane, and they despise each other initially.
