Well, for my number four, I'll start by saying the Oscars, as we often bemoan, don't usually get it right, somewhat notoriously when it comes to Best Documentary Feature, but in 2016, they did.

This film won the Best Documentary Oscar, beat out, among other films, Joshua Oppenheimer's very good The Look of Silence, and another very good music documentary, Liz Garbus' What Happened, Miss Simone? Definitely recommend that if you haven't seen it.

But this film is Amy, directed by Asif Kapadia, who came onto my radar in 2010 when he made Senna, which was one of my top 10 films of that year.

Another documentary about a legendary artist, you could say, who died tragically, died too young, Formula One driver Ayrton Senna.

He seemed fascinated by it.

And according to Liz Garbus, co-director of the docu-series One Night in Idaho, it did seem like either Maddie or Kaylee were the intended victims of Coburger's rampage.

Coburger went straight to their room, and they were the first ones killed.

Some theorize that maybe Koberger had crossed paths with one or both of them before the murders.

It's a limited documentary series about the Dana Chandler case.

It isn't so much the case, the fact that it's on HBO should be promising, and I really don't enjoy saying this, but the last two years I'm starting to feel like seeing a Liz Garbus credit.

It's kind of turning into a Berlinger situation where whatever it is should be better and more rigorous than it is.

And it just isn't.
