Liz Carroll

Yeah.

along with margie beaton she's been really involved with this gala college ensemble so there's gonna be i think 28 teenagers in the show so there's a few tickets left for that show so it's gonna be so much fun so that's some of the younger elements of the festival going back to the 1997 we do actually have a couple of bands one of them is a band that hasn't played together for a very long time but last year i reached out to liz doherty to see if the bumblebee's if they would be up for performing and Liz said okay let me just check it out guess what they're coming back this year so that was a band that had the most amazing energy 30 years ago so we're gonna have to see if they can come through this year and have that same energy they're just

the

best Another band that's coming is a band from Quebec.

So we're trying to tie in a lot of things like that.

Also having some great visitors.

Liz Carroll was someone I really wanted to bring back because she's such a festival favorite.

She's been here I don't know how many times.

That's on her own record label, Nancy McCallion.

And before that, we heard from Liz Carroll and John Doyle and a trio of tunes they say they've known forever.

Rolling in the Barrel, The Laurel Tree, and O'Rourke's.

That's from their recording In Play on Compass Records.
