Living Dead Dolls

I'm John Kitley, staff writer for Horror Hound Magazine, and I run Kitley's Crypt.

I'm Damien Kalonic, co-creator of Living Dead Dolls.

So obviously, you know, in the 1920s, we have all of these silent films.

We have all of this, as I mentioned, hangover.

Well, you know, Living Dead dolls had a doll called Envy and she is green.

So I just want another one of them.

You're like, I collect all the green ones.

And even if I don't buy it, I'm like, oh wow, it's cool that I get to see it and be a part of a space where I can, enjoy vicariously through someone else and again i know that doesn't sound fun but it's it is to a certain extent of like oh well at least i get to look at it even though it's not physically in my room

at least i think it's also a waiting game or just being very patient because yeah it will arrive to you eventually at a price point that you're happy with Because for me, for the longest time, I was wanting to get...

There's these two Living Dead dolls.

One is called Cuddles and one is called Orchid.

I teach film production and film studies at a university and write about horror just about anywhere I can.

So I do remember seeing the original when it first came out or at some point in my childhood, and it scared the crap out of me.

And because of Guillermo del Toro was behind the remake, I was excited to see the remake.

dolls that... that that were out are they still releasing in the day of the dead dolls or something are

you talking about living dead dolls yes yeah i've got heaps of those probably like 30 something they generally come in a coffin box that's right yeah but some of them just come in sort of like a rectangle box which i don't like as much prefer the coffin of course um but yeah i've got those bleeding edge goth dolls they're from the 90s like my house is full of dolls so for the normal person walking in they're probably a little bit scared but it looks awesome

Chris has got a lot of like obviously gothic inspired dolls or yeah with a lot of blood and stuff like that and the black dolls that she has one is cherry berry and the other one is simply vanilla and they're both customized that's because it's my fault And I probably got her onto the black doll side of things.

But, yeah, her house is amazing and it's got so many awesome dolls that are very gothic inspired.
