After getting her start in the Montreal music scene, Melissa was suddenly thrust into the spotlight when she joined Hole in 1994.

She's the bassist on the Live Through This world tour, right? This came in the aftermath of the deaths of Cobain and bassist Kristen Pfaff.

And Melissa was often tasked with holding the band together and helping Courtney Love amid all that grief and addiction that she was going

through.

It's a beautiful quote.

Do you feel that way? I think it would be the last quote that people who know what a turbulent time touring behind Live Through This was for Hole, for you, for Courtney, and Billy's always an adventure.

I think the first three albums, and honestly, even Nobody's Daughter are all, like, 10 out of 10 bangers for me.

Celebrity Skin has been, like, Live Through This was my first.

And Live Through This was, like, when I was, like, 13 and a friend of mine was like, you need to listen to this.

And we were, like, listening to it.

And that is a really sentimental album to me.

Also, you know, ver- we were, boy, we were very ourselves on this trip, I think.

'Cause something I remember about that trip is that I was in a phase of being obsessed with the album Live Through This by Hole.

Wow.

So I was listening to that on my Discman like a ton while we were there.
