Live and Dangerous

So recommend one live album that everyone should own a copy of.

Thin Lizzy, Live and Dangerous.

Live and Dangerous.

That was easy.

It's just brilliant.

And David Bowie heroes, um, you know, proggy heaviness, I suppose a little bit, um, new wave post-punk on the same day.

Um, Then we've got a thin Lizzie live and dangerous.

So I picked some of these because these are albums we know and love.

We love these release dates.

So there's sort of an anchor experience here and it's interesting to see what else came out on exactly the same day.

Um, so live and dangerous comes out June 2nd, 1978.

That's when we get the second Peter Gabriel album.

And also, uh, I found this very interesting, um, in the Phil line at Phil Mogg, Van Morrison, Graham Parker, Elvis Costello, uh, part of the world, John Cougar, part of the world.

Um, new wave, post-punk, uh, on the same day.

Um, then we've got, uh, Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous.

So I, I picked some of these because these are albums we know and love.

And Alive was really the groundbreaking live album that foisted them onto the public.

And you could probably say the same for Peter Frampton with Come Alive and Thin Lizzy with Live and Dangerous.

And Kiss Alive, the band were just absolutely on fire.

You know, cool gin.

But you could, like a live album, live albums are considered albums.

Like Live and Dangerous is not the same as The Essential Thin Lizzy.

Yeah, fair enough.

Or, you know, like no sleep.

I'm not changing it.

Yeah, I've got problems with this record.

I mean, firstly, like, despite what I've just said about Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous and No Sleeps at Hammersmith by Motorhead.

It's very rare that you find an essential live album.
