Liv McGill

And then Yutting Dane had 12 rebounds.

Liv McGill had 10 rebounds and 7 points.

Five assists as well.

This team is shaping up nicely.

I felt it when she committed, seeing her highlights, seeing the way that Tammy Reese talked about her, hearing about the excitement in the Florida program about her addition.

And I know that Liv McGill was a really – great player and honestly, from a record standpoint, was one of the best in women's basketball history here at Florida.

I don't think Liv McGill can tie Kiyomi McMillan's shoes, Keith.

I mean, she is pretty

bold.

And that's why I would expect this to be like a second tier contender, not a not the team that we saw the last three years.

Well, on a note of teams that added a ton of talent out of the portal and just have some question marks here, like, is there any bigger question mark other than UCLA, I suppose, in this conversation than Oklahoma State? Like, to add Adi Crooks out of the portal, to add Liv McGill, you have these two players that have very specific games, huge scorers, like...

And you're looking at J.C. Hoyt and you're like, how's this all going to fit

together? Like,

The thing is, like, you play with Audie and you just learn, like, it's going to make my life easier if I get the ball to her.

Like, you start the possessions, getting the ball to her, defense collapses, and all of a sudden other things start to open up.

So I think it might be a bit of an adjustment for Liv McGill to have to cut down some of the scoring volume.

But like, it It just makes sense, especially in this conference where Audie Crooks knows how to play against all these opponents already.

Oklahoma State's the preseason favorite.

Nine transfers headlined by Audie Crooks from Iowa State, Liv McGill from Florida.

So just monster pickups in the portal.

Crooks is, of course, one of the most dominant posts in the country.

But it's certainly going to be interesting to watch.

Obviously, Audie Crooks has been phenomenal at Iowa State.

It's going to be fascinating to kind of see how she fits into a new team, and then pairing with a player like Liv McGill.

To your point, both high-usage players.

But another team in the Big 12, I'm very, very interested to see how they do and who I think could definitely give TCU a run for their money is going to be Oklahoma State.

We spoke to head coach J.C. Hoy a couple months ago and just about the transfers that she was able to get between Audie Crokes and Liv McGill.

Those are two incredible incredible scores and it's going to be very, very exciting to see how they mesh.

And those are players that's really difficult to stop when they get going.

Here on Big 12 Radio at Big 12 Media Days, along with the former Oklahoma State Cowgirl, Austin Ivan, I'm Ari Temkin.

We've got a couple of Oklahoma State women's basketball players with us, Liv McGill and Audi Crooks.

I feel like the most important question for me is, like, you guys are new to Stillwater.

Have you been to Eskimo Joe's? Have you had the cheese fries yet? Have you been to Hideaway? Have you got the pizza? Like, do you feel settled? Do I need to tell you the places of where to go?

You got a lot of ice on you.

Yeah.

Just a whole bunch of Liv McGill, 23, my number,

just some

Agreed.

Liv McGill coming over from Florida, Oklahoma State with Crooks could be interesting.

Kansas got a duo with Nichols and Davis.

It's interesting.
