I talked to some guys that fished last week and even into the weekend.

Manatee River, Little Manatee River, Alify River, Palm River, all those are pretty hot right now.

Yeah, I heard they're going off.

Well, not only that, we always concentrate when we're speaking of basically Hillsborough River and then sweep all the way down that east shoreline.

Even though no Tampa Bay Area county is under direct threat from the storm, there's still ripple effects for this area.

There's flood warnings for Cypress Creek at State Road 54 in Pasco County, Little Manatee River in Wimauma, and Manatee River in Manatee County.

There's also coastal flood advisories starting this morning for Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus Counties, along with more to the north of that.

Plus, there's a high chance of rip currents along Florida's west coast, so maybe not the weekend to test out your saltwater swimming skills.
