Little Five Points

Yeah, hell yeah.

No, I played one show in December that some friends of mine very kindly invited me to at a cool bookstore in Little Five Points.

Oh,

I love Little Five.

And I have to wonder, what do you think these songs were giving people back then? And conversely, what do you think they're still giving people now that we need just as badly?

I'm flashing back to a show we played at Little Five Points in Atlanta to 20 people on the first tour that we did after we opened up for Alice in Chains.

So it was like 20 or 30 people there.

And Jeff and I are playing, and all of a sudden there's a guy in front of us just like this.

So for the group announcements, we have our act of service coming up in October.

This will be our second trash pickup in little five points.

We'll also be having a donation drive benefiting the Women's Resource Center in Atlanta, a domestic violence shelter.

In the most chilling detail, Caitlin actually admitted later in an interview, to cover their tracks, she was the one who took the battery out of Morgan's phone and dropped it down a storm drain in a hip little town called Little Five Points in Atlanta to hide the evidence.

which how do you explain that? So while Morgan is slipping off the grid and her family is desperately searching, Caitlin Goebel is highly active online and she's bragging about the dark things that she's capable of.

Yeah, so earlier before this murder happened on February 4th, Goebel created a social media account under the name Lilith Chaos and she starts posting a steady stream of violent memes and death imagery.

It really reminded me of the Vortex in Atlanta.

Which, for our listeners who maybe have not driven around either of the two locations of the Vortex, but specifically the one in Little Five Points...

between here and Old Fourth Ward and Little Five Points we have plenty of great street art that was not commissioned by the city and it's a wonderful area it's a So yes, I agree with you that assuming all graffiti is a sign of a dangerous neighborhood is just not fair.

All right, so it talks about older buildings and why it's important that we learn to underwrite those, especially like the percentage of, in a lot of cities, it mentions New York City's Most buildings being older than 1960.

So Today, as of recording, yesterday, we did our first act of service in Atlanta in a spot cleanup aspect.

So we did a adopt a spot when we chose Little Five Points Atlanta.

Really cool little neighborhood, very, very eclectic.

And we went out and did trash pickup.
