Little Bit o’ Soul

And then other bubblegum classics.

Little Bit of Soul, which of course the Ramones did on their underrated...

Overlook should be classic.

Subterranean Jungle.

Hello, stranger.

gregory my number two uh didn't keep within the o3o era but i found this song and i said this has got to make my list because it's really fun and it's enjoyable and it is a female band but the music explosion in 1967 of course put out a little bit of soul i love the music explosion and the linda linda's did a version of it in 2023 for a netflix movie oh i kind of remember that yeah that's my number two that one now when you're feeling low and the fish won't bite

you need a little bit of soul to put you right

in reading the book you probably saw that my story about jerry casnitz oh yeah very important in your uh development yeah i mean casnitz was my first music producer and he he was this loudmouth guy from new york i mean he was a loudmouth he was so funny he could irritate almost anyone he kept telling me manny you're gonna be a star you're gonna be such a big star but you gotta keep practicing Anyway, he got kicked out of the university, and he had to leave town.

But he told me in a 58-page letter, the 58-page letter was him saying, keep practicing a thousand times.

That's really good.

Wait a minute, that's great.

And that was a little bit of soul.

Yeah.

I think that snare hit, I remember when we talked about Little Bit of Soul, we thought that might be the best snare hit of all time.

And this might be like right up there along with it because that's such a great moment.

And then there's that guitar chop right after.
