Now that we have something that you can measure, can you teach or can you build compassion or is it just something, and empathy, or is it just something that you're born with, like blonde hair and blue eyes and compassion? Or is it something that you can build and if so, do we see changes as you're able to measure it? Can you see change over time?

Lisa EylerGUEST
So yes, for sure, there are some people who are naturally better at empathy and compassion.

Lisa EylerGUEST
So I think we don't know if that's because they were born that way or because they were nurtured early in life to be able to take other people's perspectives and to show compassion.

Lisa EylerGUEST
There are definitely some people who, you know, consider themselves empaths, for example, and really feel strongly what other people are feeling.
