Lisa Baker

That's how far back.

So I consider you a friend first, and you've done a wonderful job.

I've said many times, and it bears repeating since you're a candidate, that arguably the best treasurer in the state's history, what you've done to modernize that office, to get people money back, to do the things you've done is amazing.

Well,

And that was over the multi-billion dollar increase from the year before to the point where he was going to wipe out completely the Rainy Day Fund, completely wipe it out.

Right.

And back to a divided legislature, just recently, a couple weeks ago, I had leaders of the Republican Senate, of course, your good friend Lisa Baker, a friend of mine, and Rosemary Brown, all from Northeastern PA, big supporters, of course, of yours, talking about the importance.

And he's spending money in down-ballot races to try to bring the entire – they call it the trifecta – to do that.

We finish up strong.

Somebody saying that Lisa Baker is not, uh, pro-life.

Now, the abortionists call her anti-choice-ish.

So apparently she's voted against their interests, so I, I, I wouldn't call her pro-choice.

I'm not sure that's ever happened before.

First, we are welcoming back Pennsylvania Senate Leader Lisa Baker, representing the 20th Senatorial District.

She's running for her sixth term.

Lisa represents a substantial part of Luzerne County, as well as Wayne County, and all of Pike, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties.

Rosemary is on the ballot this November, as is Lisa.

She's running for her second term.

Rosemary sits on some of the Senate's most important committees, including the Judiciary Committee, which is chaired by her close friend on today's show, Lisa Baker.

Rosemary also serves on Labor and Industry, Transportation, and the all-important Appropriations Committee.

And I want to remind you that next week we have two more special guests.

Both are Pennsylvania Senators Lisa Baker and Rosemary Brown.

Both of them will be in studio to discuss their upcoming races and what's at stake for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Hope to see you then.
