So can you tell us a little bit about why does CC keep emphasizing Latin, do you think?

Well, there are lots of great reasons to study Latin.

Probably every parent who has ever persuaded their teenager that they are in fact going to do this strand at home and in community this year have used some of the persuasive arguments for Latin.

Yes.

It really does train your brain to think clearly.

It is great for the arrangement of information.

It is an easy way.

Either of you, jump right in.

What's the skill that comes easiest to you, and then what are you still working on?

Um, I am totally blessed to now have four grandchildren.

And so I am in my luscious lolly years.

And Gideon is our oldest grandchild.

He's a little boy who's four years old, and he is, I will readily admit, the apple of my eye.

[smacks lips] So Gideon and I have a very special relationship, and he, I have been talking to him for years.

All I could think at the moment was my dad would be so proud of me right now because I was inches away fromA, a burned corpse.
