You have Sally Brown, his sister, Lucy and Linus, and then you have Snoopy and Schroeder, and that's it.

It's only a cast of six.

I'm reminded of...

My father was a big Charles Schultz Peanuts fan, and there was a strip or so where Linus and Charlie Brown are at a desk or something, and Charlie Brown is drawing.

And Linus says, I really like your artwork, Charlie Brown, but I noticed that you keep drawing all of your characters with their arms behind their back, and I wanted to know if that really reflects your insecurities as a person and what that really says.

And Charlie Brown says, I don't know how to draw hands.

Like, it's basically just that.

Linus would understand, so would Schroeder.

Like Charlie Brown, they both are very sensitive.

All three would be considered nerdy by today's standards, and all three have obsessions and neuroses Shermy just doesn't have.

Lucy, Lucy has all of this attitude and, you know, a forthrightness and no-nonsense and, and meanness, but she also loves Schroeder and is bad at baseball and, like, she has, you know-

... is trying to tell, teach Linus things but doesn't know anything.

That's, like, so much richer.
