So yeah, uh, with this script, the action would be bouncing around quite a lot between an older bearded Tommy Doyle, who's partnered with an also grown Lindsey Wallace, 'cause we need to get another, you know, character's name who we've heard before, and there'd be a number of flashbacks that revealed Michael Myers' missing years.

This would be revealed through Loomis' old journals.

That would kind of be the framing device for those.

I don't know.

Like, with Anthony Michael Hall's character, we, Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace, uh, and I, I'm thinking just from a very practical standpoint, they were little kids in 1978 who experienced something truly horrible.

Did these kids get counseling? Did these kids get therapy of any kind? 1978 in the United States, probably not.

And my thought is, is this a commentary as well not only on individual trauma and, and not reconciling with individual trauma, but is this also a commentary [laughs] on how people who have experienced trauma and haven't, you know, gotten the help they need to help process that, how does that also ripple out into the community? Obviously, this is a really terrible tragedy that has affected this small town, and it will be a thing that is talked about in this small town, and, and in, as you, as you said, mythologized in a type of way.

So I understand this a little more because that is where I live [laughs] or that is where I lived w- for, you know, for 25 years of my life.

That is where I grew up.

And I, I have a little more empathy for Tommy Doyle and for Lindsey Wallace and the way they are reacting in this situation.

Do I think they're right? No.

She was Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4 and Halloween 5, if you didn't know, but you're a Halloween fan, so you should already know that.

Annie is looking after a girl called Lindsey Wallace, and Annie wants to ditch Lindsey so she can go off with her boyfriend Paul, and she asks Laurie if she can, uh, pull double duty and watch Tommy and Lindsey at the same time.

Uh, while they're having this conversation as well, we get a little recreation of the scene where Michael's lingering outside the school and, and, and Laurie clocks him through the window.

Then she looks down, looks back up, and he's gone.
