no but you you made a great point and this i think gets lost in the sauce a little bit and you'll have to correct me if there's like a great story on this but the first professional athletes i ever hung around with like on a daily basis were maya moore and lindsay whalen when i was working for the links and i always remember they used to practice below lifetime fitness um like they don't have a practice facility and i just i'll never forget this is like a real story but i was at practice this morning and they brought in some younger guys to do like a scout team thing and one of those guys was tyus jones and he was committed to duke and then something happened that morning where he needed a ride home and they basically assigned him to me and i was driving my dad's tahoe so i gave tyus a ride home this is going to go somewhere i promised um but i gave tyus a ride home and i was a north carolina guy i'm like dude i'm like 22 and And I was just like, hey, Tyus, do you want to go to North Carolina? Like I said something so stupid and then he just didn't talk to me the rest of the drive.

But no, but I think what's interesting is that you're right.

But like she was, she was like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant.

She was a killer in what she did, but it was a little more subtle.

Whereas like Lindsay Whalen also had kind of like, not to do the comp again, but like the Ricky Rubio flair of passing and just like being a floor general.

I was actually- I saw Lindsay Whalen a couple months ago, and somehow Tulsa came up and playing in Tulsa, and somehow the Holiday Inn came up 'cause that was the fucking hotel that we had to stay in in Tulsa.

Like I said, I love, uh, I love watching the game, and I watched her in college, and I watched her in the WNBA, and she's sitting right there on your bench.

Lindsey Whalen, another great basketball mind and g- uh, basketball point guard.

How has she helped you this season in your rookie year?

Like, physically, mentally, like emotionally, whatever that may be, I can go to her about life, like you said.

She averaged 20 points per game, four rebounds and six and a half assists while shooting 50% from the floor and 44% from three, which for a rookie, whenever you're looking at that adjustment from college to college, the WNBA, sometimes those efficiency numbers are what you see take the most of a dip, but that's not been the case for Olivia Miles.

I think you can give a lot of credit for her teammates and head coach Cheryl Reeve, even looking at the assistant coach, Lindsay Whalen, and kind of coaching her up in that point guard role.

Miles has really just... totally been amazing this season and looking at her you see that she is the head of the snake for the Minnesota Lynx the ball is often in her hands as the offense is running and the ball is in her hands sometimes in late game scenarios just to make something happen and for a rookie to be given that responsibility on the best team record wise in the WNBA is just huge we've Haven't seen that too many times this season.

And for a rookie, again, to be in this MVP conversation is still very, very impressive.

She was absolutely the most valuable player in the league.

She didn't run away with the trophy like it was within a like a vote or two with with Lindsay Whalen of Connecticut, who had a really good season, but also was not the league's most valuable player.

Like it was clearly Candace Parker.
