And so I think that essential connection i- is lost in the process.

So one of the previous conversations that I've had with, uh, Simoran Maxwell, who is a curator at the National Gallery of Australia, specializing in textiles, we were talking about the collection of designers Jenny Kee and Linda Jackson.

And because this collection that was, um, largely acquired by the NGA, so they didn't get everything, but they got a sizable chunk of their collection, and Simoran was saying that one of the really fascinating things about these pieces is that these were often Jenny and Linda's actual clothes, like they designed them to wear themselves.

And so there's stories attached to it where it's like, "Oh yeah, there's a small wine stain from this party that [laughs] one of them went to." And it adds this whole layer of texture, so to speak-
