So I got, you know, the halfway point at that Lincolnville aid station is when was when things started to kind of I started to struggle a little bit.

Yeah, I started feeling the fatigue.

And that's because that the terrain was just taking its toll oh yeah i can handle the distance and i can handle a lot of the climbing and declining but there was unless i was out there running that specific course all the time there was really no way for me to train that specifically because you've got roots you've got rocks you've got uneven terrain you're never able to get like you were talking about about at the beginning never get secure footing so that takes its toll yeah So my feet were really starting to get exhausted.

So he met up with me at two different aid stations.

So at about 14, 15 miles in, so I ran the first, you know, four hours, um, uh, on just everything that I had on me to start the race with refueled with him there.
