We don't have a chart about them, but they too are down, but also have factories and plants in both Canada and the US to circumvent a lot of the tariffs that are being applied.

So yes, overall stock market probably not affected too much, but a name like Magna, Linamar, automotive part makers, yes, they are affected, I would say quite a bit.

Another chart that we have here is one on steel, Algoma steel in particular.

And you can see Algoma steel over the last few weeks coming down since the beginning of the month.

Yeah.

I mean, for Linamar, y- you know, over 90% of our sales has no tariff, uh, at all, la- largely because a big part of our business is auto parts, and there's, as long as you're USMCA compliant, there's no, uh, tariff on auto parts.

So that's a great thing.

I mean, obviously some, uh, products in our industrial division are i- being impacted by the tariffs, but, you know, we, we need to find ways to, you know, close, uh, close those, uh, additional costs through productivity, better cost, better innovation, uh, a lot of different ways.

But new tariffs make that more expensive.

Here is Jim Jerl, the CEO of the Canadian manufacturing company, Linamar.

Putting tariffs into the process is like putting, like, a bunch of toll booths every few miles on the same highway, right?

President Trump wrote on Truth Social that if the US and Canada don't reach a trade deal by January 1st, tariffs on cars and auto parts coming from Canada will rise to 50%.

The two countries are not talking.

Um, and we're in this tit-for-tat tariff war that is causing real pain if you are, you know, Linamar, Magna, these kind of companies.

Yeah, I mean, 100%.

It's a little frustrating.

So somebody or a components member, somebody who's building, you know, it's in robotics and introduce them to the CEO or the vice president of Agco or John Deere or whomever it is, you know, a connection that they might not have been able to make before.

So that's, Or a medium size, right? You could MacDon, which I know is part of Linamar, or Kinsey or something like this.

So in the past, I think the view was, who do you think you are? This annoying fly buzzing around.

So Linda Hassan Fratz, who's the chairwoman of Linamar in Canada, she was our AEM chair not long ago.

And I reached out to her fairly recently with a challenge I was facing.

Obviously, it's a part of the Linmar family, which is a large conglomerate that has multiple other brands as well.

So this, it'd be interesting to see if Salford... which is also owned by Linamar, somehow works its way into that.
