Lily Houghton

Last Thursday after my show, news broke that a fifth Halloween Town movie is currently at the works at Disney Channel and Disney+, 20 years after the fourth film, 2006's Return to Halloween Town.

known about this new entries that Lily Houghton and Ryan Cohen are writing it.

Club details, release date, and cast are currently unknown.

The only star who obviously can't return is the late Debbie Reynolds, who passed in December 2016.

which is crazy.

And the new project is still in the early stages with the writers Lily Houghton and Ryan Cohen developing the script.

They don't have a plot description or a casting use yet, so we don't even know whether the familiar faces are going to return or whether this will introduce a new generation of witches.

Still, it's a fun bit of nostalgia for anyone who grew up watching these movies every October.

The Wrap couldn't reveal exclusively.

Lily Houghton and Ryan Cohn are developing the script for Disney based on the characters created by Paul Birnbaum who wrote the original 1998 film.

Additional details are still under wraps.

It's unclear whether previous cast members like Kimberly J.

Okay.

So this movie was actually based on a play by Lily Houghton called Of the Woman Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die.

Okay.

That is actually the shirt that Lily Reinhart is wearing at the end.
