Um, when we interact with another person, so researchers will, like, get two people together, they interact, they walk away from each other, and then they ask them, like, "How much did you like that person that you just interacted with?" And they'll also ask them, "How much do you think that person liked you?" And on average, when we walk away from those conversations, we underestimate how much the other person liked us.
