LGBTQ media

pushback in so many series just starting in the 2010s.

And you can see how pushback has really affected not just queer media like an anime, but you can see it as like somebody who's been reading Girls Love and Boys Love for so long.

The difference in having to try to find a translation now is so prominent.

I now have like... 15 legal sites that are doing like tapas well now tapas isn't is having an issue um they're trying to they they're gonna shut down is what they're trying to say but i was like but the biggest thing is taffy tune came out and they added an 18 plus section but then they added an all ages section and they took their bl and they actually had the creators take out the 18 plus scenes and move it to a separate one and then had an all ages one so now everybody could consume it and you can see that on Manta you can see it on liaison all ages which is Korean comics and then we can see now that we have so many more platforms where we're getting official English translations versus us having to find that one person, probably here in North Dakota, that is translating Japanese BL for us or GL for us.

But Korea and Japan have really pumped out a lot of media where they're telling creators, you can uncensor it now.

We will publish it uncensored.

We will just put it behind like this sort of, but it's really great to see that we can see like this shift that queer media is being more consumed.

So let's actually do something about it.
