Lewiston High School

Like I said, I attended high school right across the river.

My mother graduated from Lewiston High School, so I've always been invested in the area.

I've raised my family here.

You know, it's funny.

That sounds like a really good idea.

Lewiston High School chemistry and forensic science teacher and current Androscoggin County Teacher of the Year, Abigail McCoy, is one of four finalists for Maine Teacher of the Year.

McCoy holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and hopes to use the platform to raise awareness of AI's negative impact on students' mental health.

And the 18th annual Dempsey Challenge will take place next Saturday, September 19th at Simard Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston.
