Another plant I gave up on, now this one is a little bit more specialty, but this is another one where they say, "Oh, it needs really, really good drainage, especially over winter." I thought, "Yes, I can do this.

I am going to rule with this plant," Lewisia.

Oh.

Uh, Lewisia cotyledon.

So it's a little, uh, such beautiful flowers, uh, a little alpine plant.

Um, and it's actually named for Lewis of Lewis and Clark.

... 'cause they're not one of those, like, oh, you can just find 'em anywhere, like a heuchera.

You know, heuchera's a relatively low-stakes loss 'cause they're not super expensive.
