So I don't think that makes sense.

If you're not able to get Brett Lother or the Rough Riders don't want to give up any assets to bring Brett Lother over in a potential trade from Ottawa, then I think Lewis Ward could be someone that is discussed with regard to the kicker position.

I think it looked like AJ Ouellette could have played in the rematch in Winnipeg.

If it was up to me, I'd probably have a guy like Lewis Ward come in, and I would have had him come in maybe a few months ago, to be honest, when the struggles really started and when Ottawa obviously got rid of him.

But at the end of the day, you have a Canadian guy who's hit the most consecutive field goals in the history of football, and going into a playoff run, I think that's someone that you want to have on your side and at least have a bit of consistency or knowing what you're going to get from him maybe not the most powerful leg but the ball goes through the uprights

But they could go find somebody else, I guess.
