PaulHOST

You know, 3-0 seems to be the score at the moment, doesn't it? Eight changes for Bournemouth, nine changes for Villa.
PaulHOST
4:29
Bournemouth captain was Lewis Cook and Villa captain, I'm not going to call him an old friend, Tyrone Mings, but I thought he had a shocker.
PaulHOST
4:38
But anyway, what I found interesting was how different it was to watch the game with no VAR.
PaulHOST
4:45
On TV, I watched it live.
PaulHOST
5:54
He still doesn't look 100% fit to me.
PaulHOST
5:57
I missed the second goal there, mate.
PaulHOST
5:58
How Lewis Cook managed to put that second goal in at the near post, I don't know.
PaulHOST
6:03
I think you could have stopped that one, Matt.
Craig BeazleyHOST
5:08
Ryan Christie, engine room.
Craig BeazleyHOST
5:10
Hey, Lewis Cook.
Craig BeazleyHOST
5:13
Ryan Christie, does it matter who plays? Not really, because I tell you what, they're both absolutely bloody brilliant.
Craig BeazleyHOST
5:20
Tyler Adams had a great day of winding up the Leeds United fans.
Craig BeazleyHOST
8:27
I said straight away to Matt, you know, with regards to Bifode Diakete, you know, he was going to come on.
Craig BeazleyHOST
8:33
James Hill was going to slot into the right-hand side.
Craig BeazleyHOST
8:36
Lewis Cook for Ryan Christie makes absolute sense.
Craig BeazleyHOST
8:40
Kluivert for Krupe, well, Krupe for Kluivert, I should say, again, makes perfect sense, as does Adley and as does Rodriguez, who, Rodriguez is a funny one.
George BrookeHOST
57:37
He's a solid player as well.
George BrookeHOST
57:38
They've still got Cookie playing, haven't they? Lewis Cook, who's a seasoned player now.
George BrookeHOST
57:45
They've got another former Leeds player, which many people might remember, but Adam Smith, of course, who does still play for Bournemouth and had a brief spell at Leeds on loan back in the day as well.
George BrookeHOST
58:00
So, yeah, there's a couple of ex-Leeds lads in there.
Dan WitheyHOST
6:42
Unfortunately, Bito made the save.
Dan WitheyHOST
6:44
so second half then um the second goal came from a cross that kind of just snuck in perfectly at the near post from lewis cook i mean a lewis cook girl what more could you ask for in life that i think that what's that is that third third no fourth i think fourth i can't obviously there was a long range effort that was really his first goal the goal the tapping yeah the head against everton
Greg MasdingPANELIST
7:08
against Bristol City at home I think in the championship when fans were in the ground for that one yeah great goal that came just after Juan Lu had his save had his shot tipped onto the bar destined for him to get a goal on his first start would have been really nice to see but he hit it straight at the keeper there
Dan WitheyHOST
7:25
it was a little bit too
Martin RileyHOST
27:21
They are still relatively direct as to what they were under Iriola.
Martin RileyHOST
27:26
So I think in possession they do largely look quite similar from the, I will say, very limited game time that I have been able to find because the only footage I could find was five-minute-long highlights from individual games, which really tells you nothing about i couldn't find any full match anywhere full of no money when i was trying to prepare for this i really haven't watched a whole lot but what the data does tell me is that they do like to cross the ball a lot they have the third most average crosses per game so far this season so they do look to get into wide areas and one player who is quite heavily involved with getting balls into the box is adrian for fair they're left back who just get forward quite often and look to get to the they've obviously got a player a striker in evan nielsen who had a pretty poor season last season in terms of goal scoring but he's got off to a much better start this year so he's a big target for them in the box hyan i think is how you pronounce their right winger or ryan however you pronounce it i don't know he has been also doing well so far and he's a very dangerous 1v1 dribbler so they'll look to isolate him against the opposition fullback do like to get balls switched across with the lovely foot of lewis cook he does like to hit long balls into those channels and And

28:42
yeah,
Martin RileyHOST
28:42
that's about all I can really say about how they play in possession.
Alfie Felton-GlennHOST
30:04
Yeah, I mean they've been a tricky side to play against for a number of years now of Bournemouth and I think we'll be expecting that in this next match as well they've recently had a bit of an upturn in how their season has gone as well Manchester United lost against Bournemouth 3-0 in the last match and Bournemouth beat Sunderland 2-0 in the match before that so they've been scoring they've been conceding very few if you looked at just those matches because of course before then they lost 5-1 to Chelsea and aside from that they're the the two most recent matches are the only clean sheets that Bournemouth have had all season so they clearly can be got at but it clearly is going to be a tough match regardless of how you look at it what do you expect the lineup will look like against us then
Martin RileyHOST
30:53
So the last lineup they had was Petrovic, Smith.
Martin RileyHOST
30:57
So Petrovic in goal, Smith at right back, Hill and Silva sent them back, Adrian Truffaut left back, Tyler Adams, our lovely old friend, and Lewis Cook.
Martin RileyHOST
31:08
And they've got a full leads pairing in there i think alex scott would more more likely be in for this game but i believe he's injured at the moment until early november at least that's what what mob tells me so that's probably why cook is playing at the moment over scott and further forward they have high on right wing clivert and tavernia and evan nielsen um They don't have anyone of a major out, I don't think.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:18
I think this is pretty much what we're getting.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:19
The only question will be Ryan Christie or Lewis Cook in this midfield role.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:24
I think it's going to go back to Ryan Christie here.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:26
I think Lewis Cook has now started two games in a row, something like that.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:30
But Cliver and Tavernier on corners.
Adam ZdroikHOST
15:33
Nothing too surprising here.
Sam DavisHOST
9:27
made a few good saves from Ganondoke and others.
Sam DavisHOST
9:29
But, I mean, what was he doing for Lewis Cook's goal?
Tom JordanHOST
9:32
Well, yeah.
Tom JordanHOST
9:32
and he made a good save to Wanlu which resulted in that corner he obviously was a bit unsighted or whatever I've seen him enough times he's a decent enough number two but yeah I think I've seen that Villafan's a bit concerned because Suzuki the goalkeeper they have the Asian Cup so if he can miss like seven games oh okay right so they'll be a little bit concerned if he's got to come in but it's difficult for a goalkeeper and yeah it was one real bad error I guess but yeah down the other end didn't have as much to do but Di Gregorio for Villafan he's only just come in for us on loan played third game yeah landed a goal have you only got him on loan yes
Tom JordanHOST
12:56
But I think, no disrespect, but if you're comparing him a little bit more to Uno, which is kind of the role he's going to be playing this season, I think he's definitely got a higher ceiling and he's probably a little bit more in tune to the way we play.
Tom JordanHOST
13:07
And I think with every performance, every cameo I've seen, I've thought, he looks a little bit better.
Tom JordanHOST
13:10
And even in that guy, I thought, first off, I thought, St Malvara game not looking great and then again looked better as it went on held onto the ball a little bit better in the second half and to be fair to him he took the goal but when he got through it I thought it's a good finish and as you say he scored the penalty but to score the first one from open play for us to do him the world of good yeah the players all looked delighted for him so yeah really really pleased for him and yeah like I say all of them done really well pleased again for Diakite still ain't conceded a goal and I think I said a stat to you that I saw a brother said to me that we've only conceded one goal when Lewis Cook's been on the pitch this season but That's insane, isn't it? Great little stat.
Tom JordanHOST
13:45
And I'll tell you what.
Craig BeazleyHOST
17:12
James Hill, right-hand side.
Craig BeazleyHOST
17:14
Lewis Cook, got to give him a lot of credit for the performance against Manchester United, was very, very resolute.
Craig BeazleyHOST
17:21
With Tyler Adams, Gallon Doak on the left-hand side, Adderley on the right, centre midfield, Ryan Christie, and I did put Krupe up front, but I do get your point.
Craig BeazleyHOST
17:35
Do you feel, if we play Christie, you know, it has to be with Krupi in advance, or do you feel that it could be a mix? Because I'd be a little bit worried going into this game with Christy behind Rodriguez.
Matt HarrisonHOST
18:27
Yeah, I know where you're coming from.
Matt HarrisonHOST
18:30
I think, you know, Christy can do a job there against maybe a no-disrespecter Ryan Christy because he's an awesome player.
Matt HarrisonHOST
18:36
But I like him alongside an Adams or a Lewis Cook.
Matt HarrisonHOST
18:42
You know, against, you know, Lincoln.
SanjayHOST
66:10
Previous performance, points 18, passes key 4, a popular Purple Patch player pick, Jacob Murphy.
SanjayHOST
66:17
pies punt i can't believe i did that without having to edit any crap um from andrew we've got drew's dart gaming nine is this thing on lewis cook is back only two percent owned coming off an assist and 11 fan tracks points in 74 minutes and he's raring to go for your spot spot start while they face Leeds at home let's throw some darts we've got Tasha's tip picture the scene it's Monday night you're behind by six and your opponent is chilling in the bar that free roster spot you've been saving is just about to be put to some use only 20% rostered a 90 minute player loving life away from Sham City welcome aboard Nico Gonzalez and we'll take your ghost points too but remember it's just the tip and then finally Matt responded trey hume
TashHOST
67:08
i like how i got that so late as well when you said that to me i was just when you said that to me i was like what the fuck does that and then about an hour later i was like that's matt's pick isn't it yeah
SanjayHOST
67:19
yeah yeah yeah i mean thoughts on these suggestions obviously i know you're gonna back yours um but i'll be honest i'm not sure i like any of them this week
TashHOST
67:29
none of them are the best I do like I love Pai's alliteration and his use of the P word constantly and yeah definitely as a purple patch player but I think as we said with I don't I'm not sure if Jacob Murphy will play next game but um and Lewis Cook uh no no thanks um there's there's a reason he's two percent owned Andrew come on yeah and uh yeah I just kind of I just wanted to build a nice story on my one but yeah Nico Gonzalez he's worth keeping an eye on I'm talking like you know like I said you know you need that six points um he's he's ghosting quite well but um so I pick mine over the other three um and just because Matt couldn't be arsing any more than Trehu
SanjayHOST
68:17
I mean, the thing I like about yours is the fact that I do like, you know, keeping that free spot up until that Monday night fixture.
SanjayHOST
68:25
You never know, right? Your opponent has already played everyone out.
NeilHOST
10:17
Diakite in the middle.
NeilHOST
10:21
Ryan Christie and Lewis Cook, I would imagine, in the two sixes.
NeilHOST
10:25
Ben Gannon-Dawke probably on the right-hand side.
NeilHOST
10:28
Juan Luis Sanchez in the center.
