I don't think it's as strong as Hard Truths, Mike Lee's previous film, but it's very, I mean, it's devastating in how it wraps up his career, I suppose, in the sense that you're like, this is this man's final statement on humanity is quite a... depressing one i wouldn't say depressing because it had a lot of hope and love in it but it's he i think you know the man's first movie was called bleak moments and he ends his final film on a similarly bleak note i think um there's a there's a sort of a cry for help element to it at the end that about caring for the elderly and the sick and the vulnerable that that is that is quite hard to walk away not being not feeling really really kind of like sick and awful about but um great performances in it Cato Flynn is superb and there's a guy called Paul Jessen I believe who plays the the like the father in it who is so good um and and that's a really special performance so everyone will hopefully see that soon I saw the Irish movie Lemonade with um Lewis Brophy and Barry Keoghan which is yet another Screen Ireland funded child leaves foster care and lives independently movie we're getting one of these every eight months now um As they go, this one's pretty strong.

But unfortunately, as listeners will know, Barry Keoghan, an actor I cannot take seriously and did not enjoy watching him play a Dublin social worker who happens to look like Ringo Starr and has Ringo hair and little round glasses.
