You know, and so, like, you know, of course if I ran across Levy Rozman in St. Louis I'd probably have him sign it.

This is kinda weird." And once that scandal broke, 'cause people would get flagged, they'd be told, "Hey, you played against Elon Musk.

He probably cheated against you." That would go public and then Elon would have to try to defend himself, and then people would say they, they would grab some person like GothamChess or some other chess streamer and they would say, "Hey Elon, play this guy in real life over the board in a situation where you don't have your phone and you're not wearing glasses." And you probably, uh, if chess nerds will know this, there was a scandal about a guy allegedly having a butt plug that someone was vibrating to give him the right moves.

But it's like, hey, E- if Elon wants to do the butt plug, God bless him.

But they'd be like, "Hey Elon, like play this guy.

Gotham Chess couldn't do it with all the free time, so...

yeah yeah that seems really challenging it's i you know i'm a high school teacher my students are always like how close are you to grandmaster and i'm like you don't understand that is a professional full-time chess player and you see me where every day here or at home doing chess all day So yeah.

I, I would say, so for me, as I was learning the game, um, one of the best chess creators right now, um, is a fella named Levy Rozman.

He has a, a YouTube channel called Gotham Chess, and he has a book called "How to Win at Chess," and it's a very accessible, fun, modern, interesting approach to, to learning the game, and his content that's out there o-on video is really interesting.

And so he's good.

That comment by Kyle Teal, just wait until Mike Vassell gets in here, was to Gotham Chess, which is the online name for Levy Rosman.

Levy is one of the most popular chess content creators online.

He's often called the Internet's chess teacher, and he has been traveling this season through different regions MLB clubhouses and basically squaring off with any players that want to play chess.

And no surprise once I was alerted about this by our executive producer, Brennan Riley, that Kyle Teal was somebody who was at the forefront because I can tell you in my observation over the last two seasons, Kyle Teal is frequently locked in on the chess board, always trying to figure out who he can coax into a game with him.

And he's a huge fanatic.

And so no surprise that he was at the forefront of the White Sox players taking on Levy Rosman, a.k.a. Gotham Chess.

And you heard Kyle Teal joke about how, hey, it's quiet in the clubhouse, but just wait until Mike Vassell gets in here.

To increase both the size and diversity of the dataset, I combined three different sources: public games from Kaggle's Lichess dataset, games downloaded from professional chess, com accounts, personal games from my friend.

For the professional dataset, I selected players with very different profiles: Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Ding Liren, and Levy Rozman, Gotham Chess.

Interestingly, Ding Liren only had four available games through the endpoint I used.

The sample was tiny, but I decided to keep it anyway.
