Let's Not Meet: A True Horror Podcast

So to squash any rumors that'll probably be going around, I'll just give you a straight up answer.

I'm super burnt out and I want to focus strictly on Let's Not Meet moving forward.

I'm leaving Odd Trails at the end of October.

So you'll have a solo host here.

And I could probably pop in on an episode every once in a while.

Yeah.

I just want to focus on Let's Not Meet.

That's basically it.

Hi, long time listener, first time emailer.

I have a story of something eerie that happened to me and I'm reminded of it anytime I hear a Let's Not Meet episode.

I've talked myself out of emailing this to you multiple times because I think there's really not much to the story, but part of me feels like that's why it's so creepy.

In September of 2001, when I was in my second year of college, my family planned a trip out of state to visit my aunt, who sadly was very ill with stomach cancer.

What was going on in that adult entertainment establishment? What were their intentions for me? And why had the men at the strip club seemingly changed his mind? How many other women were victims of whatever was happening? The situation was scary and something I have never forgotten or completely put behind me.

But the questions of what was really going on and how close I was to possibly being a victim of something very sinister is truly more terrifying.

To the taxi driver, the mysterious strip club man, and anyone else involved, let's not meet.

And yes, I re-listened to this and Let's Not Meet also pretty often.

No, I don't think I've ever done that.

It's not like a book or a movie for me, but not to say I don't like podcasts as much.
