Yeah, I think we're in for a dogfight every night in the central division here.

Starting from the bottom of the province to the top, Lethbridge maybe wasn't the strongest team last year, but they've added three players from the national development team.

Where am I going here? Calgary is coming off a year last year that we'd kind of like to replicate this year where they overachieved expectations with a very young team, and they're a year older and able to keep a lot of their team together.

And then we have, like you said, they're probably the top dogs in the team that everyone wants to knock off with the Rucks coming back and leading the league in scoring.

I actually got invited to be part of a performance with two other dancers.

One's from Lethbridge and one was here in Calgary.

She no longer performs.

And I remember it was probably...

He has filed a complaint with AHS and Alberta Health Services says it is investigating this case.

There's also a complaint down in the Lethbridge area.

On Facebook, a paramedic who called an ambulance because of surgery complications was allegedly told because of protocol and lack of resources that a paramedic would call them back to decide if they actually needed an ambulance.

What is happening? Is this new or are we just hearing about this now? Do we only hear these stories when somebody comes out to tell their story? Leanne Alfaro is president of the Health Sciences Association of Alberta.

No Albertan experiencing a medical emergency should be left wondering whether an ambulance will arrive in time to get the care they truly need.

The reality is, like you said, it's happening.

in Lethbridge, there are probably many incidences across this province because we have not kept up with the hiring of paramedics that we need.

So recruiting training and retaining those that we have, we haven't kept up with the population growth in Alberta.

Today we're talking about Canada's Western Gateway, or CWG.

CWG is the trade and logistics corridor at the heart of Canada's agricultural supercluster encompassing Highway 4 in the Lethbridge, Alberta area.

The gateway sees an annual economic output of more than $678 million, supports more than 1,000 jobs, is traveled by more than 2,400 trucks per day, and is home to more than 700 transportation and logistics businesses.

In today's episode, we're sitting down with Rylan Howard, Cluster Development Manager, Canada's Western Gateway and Economic Development Lethbridge, and Cody Fluitt, Industry Development Coordinator with Canada's Western Gateway and Economic Development Lethbridge.

Rylan, I will start with you.

Yeah, absolutely.

Still one week to go until the regular season kicks off September 18th.

in Lethbridge.

Tigers opening on the road for the first time in a pair of seasons and still a lot left to be determined with this roster.

The blue line still a lot of guys competing for roster spots.

I can about the situation, which is someone's got to go and sort of we'll talk about the pros of each of these players and maybe why it would be so difficult to move off from any.

So let's begin with a little bit of a look at the preseason so far.

We've had two games, both against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the Tigers victorious in both.

And the Ruck Twins and Landon Ruck got a chance to play alongside one another in in their first preseason game, and just what a cool moment for that family.

And then to wrap up the Cougars action for the weekend, the men will be playing Sunday at 3.30.

So essentially after the Cougars-Pandas match, the men's team will be facing Lethbridge Pronghorns, as mentioned, 3.30. Lethbridge, 0-1 start, ranked 26th nationally.

Definitely a lot of opportunity to watch the Cougars at their new field this weekend.

Absolutely.

The women after that will also be playing on Sunday at noon against McEwen Griffins.

The Dinos women will be looking to keep their perfect start to the season going with those two games.

And then the men will be facing Lethbridge and McEwen with games on Saturday at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 3.30 p.m. McMahon is a busy place this weekend.

Yeah, when you think about it, the Wild, they're barely going to get off the turf.

at the end yeah in march that year we were getting ready to go to lethbridge for a game when we got the call that we weren't going and three days later the season was cancelled so then that summer the nhl bubble came to edmonton so i did all of that all 66 days and nights And

you were just working for every team.
