Lethbridge Pronghorns

Still managed to get out to McMahon for a, a university soccer game, so that was great.

But, uh, yeah, unfortunately, uh, I do have to confess I, I didn't get around to watching either of the pro teams this weekend, so my takes will have to rely on the highlight reels.

Uh, that, that should work out, I think.

No problem.

Right on.

This is our weekend recap episode.

We're gonna talk about all the matches this weekend that involve Calgary-based teams.

Uh, we'll talk about Cavalry FC against Inter Toronto, the Wild taking on the Tides, uh, a bunch of U Sports and ECAC action, and, uh, a quick update on those Calgarians that were playing in the international window.

Now Regina gets another opportunity almost immediately at their own Cougar Classic, at their own tournament.

They're going to play against Lethbridge, which I'm assuming is going to be an easy win.

And they're going to play against Winnipeg, which would be a good tight matchup for Regina.

That's a great little triangle because Winnipeg has already played some useful games and Regina is now trying to respond to a difficult weekend.

The Helen Campbell Memorial gives us Laval, Sanefex, Guelph and UNB.

The Calgary Cup gives us Acadia, Windsor, UBCO and Calgary.

And the Cougars Classic gives us Regina, Lethbridge and Winnipeg.

Those are the games I'm interested in watching next.

Yeah.

The men are at the MacEwan Griffins on Friday and the Lethbridge Pronghorns on Sunday.

Then again, kind of an interesting situation, they host the U of Alberta Golden Bears on October the 2nd, and then the Mount Royal Cougars on October the 4th.

So their very next two games.

He was not right in the head when he was – I couldn't even understand.

I think I said, Gohorns is about the only thing I understood that he said that whole little weird rant.

And then walks off and just disrespects Holly Rowe.

And Trevor, you know my opinion.

On the men's side, there was some success, but, uh, there was also, uh, I'd say, at least one sur- surprising result, at least, you know, in my opinion.

H- uh, Lethbridge Pronghorns on Saturday night, uh, defeated the Dinos at McMahon, uh, two-nil.

Yes.

I do think that's unexpected, uh, especially as the visiting team, and a familiar face getting on the score sheet for the Pronghorns.

Good first match.

It, it ended up as a one-one draw, and then on Sunday, Cougars men's team got their first victory, uh, on that field.

Yes, they beat the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns three to one, so they did what the Dinos couldn't do the day before.

And Skylar Rogers was probably the MVP of that one.

And then to wrap up the Cougars action for the weekend, the men will be playing Sunday at 3.30.

So essentially after the Cougars-Pandas match, the men's team will be facing Lethbridge Pronghorns, as mentioned, 3.30. Lethbridge, 0-1 start, ranked 26th nationally.

Definitely a lot of opportunity to watch the Cougars at their new field this weekend.

Absolutely.
