Less Than Jake

And now I'm going to go to a gig.

I'm going to go see Less Than Jake at the Forum.

I love Less Than Jake.

Yeah.

I think there was...

Skanking.

Less Than Jake.

Pie Tasters.

He later elaborated on his hatred of Ska, adding, People who like Ska give the rest of the human race a bad

So it's a public holiday eve.

I'm going to go see Less Than Jake this evening, which is very fun.

And also, like, everybody is taking a four-day weekend.

But here's your mate Jim working on a Monday like an idiot.

He's putting one down.

On the wraps.

Thing is, will they keep it up? Who knows? But anyway, I do have to take this show while these final two games are going, obviously, because I've got to get out of here, get into the city, go to less than Jake.

Because, again, the lineup is like the Suicide Machines, Aquabats, and less than Jake.

You know, I've dabbled in management.

I managed a band from Florida at one point, less than Jake.

I used to be their manager.

So I've had a good opportunities and, and to, to work in this business.

Absolutely.

You mentioned earlier, this is a bit of an oddball question.

I'm not sure if you'll know the answer to this one, but you mentioned you did manage Less Than Jake in their early years.

Roger worked at a smoke shop called Knuckleheads in Gainesville.

You beauty.

I should come up with a less than Jake award.

I'm going to go see less than Jake on Monday here in Melbourne.

Cannot wait.

Love less than Jake.

One of my favorite apocryphal stories.

So, you know me, I used to be a music journalist.

And then I went to Triple J Magazine, all that sort of stuff, right? But each year I would still go to South by, go to the States, go see a million bands in like, what, five, six days in Austin, Texas.

remember I went to see, I actually have two.

I saw less than Jake at the thing was the bluebird theater in Denver and I've lived in Denver and LA, bounced back and forth a lot.

So I don't know if you're familiar with Denver.

There's a strip of venues, Bluebird, Ogden, Fillmore, like on Colfax Avenue.

But anyway, Bluebird is kind of one of the midsize smaller one.

I saw less than Jake.

I don't know if you know there are more Pascal Reggae.

Fall Out Boy opened up for them.
