Look, L-E-O-M-I-N-I-S-T-E-R, Leominster.

It's not Leo-minster, it's Leomin- I, I get that, but this one just doesn't, it, it doesn't look like Damariscotta.

So again, my apologies for the mispronunciation.

They were arrested and charged by Burlington Police with misdemeanor trespassing.

So, Leominster versus Fitchburg, we've been playing on Thanksgiving for a really long time.

We've been playing since 1894.

It's considered one of the best rivalries in Massachusetts on Thanksgiving.

And Leominster's kind of dominated the last 10 years or so.

So, it's not great.

But when I was in high school, we were, like, tied.

But on this late May day in 1996, Fidrich, clad in work boots, jeans, and a sweatshirt, was a simple working guy.

He was a contractor hauling asphalt to a home construction site in Leominster, Mass.

He talked happily about his current work, his family, and his baseball career, which was cut short by persistent arm troubles.

He cited Tiger veteran outfielder Mickey Stanley, who won a World Series title with the Tigers in 1968, as a mentor who encouraged him to think beyond baseball.

We're like real, we're real friends.

So yeah, he was like, "I'm gonna be in Leominster, Massachusetts." I was like, "Leominster, yeah." And he's like, "Do you wanna come for a couple days and do background?" I was like, "Fuck yeah." So I got to be in a couple scenes, and he's just like...

So yeah, I got to interact with him.

I am in this fucking scene.

Jacques Pepin and Julia Child, like Julia Child had a show where you could watch like Jean-Louis Paladin cook.

And you have no idea who the hell that guy is when you're like eight years old in Leominster.

But, you know, there's something special about it.

That was when you could actually write a letter to the show asking for the transcripts.

Oh, there's Wachusett-

Among these towns may be mentioned Kidderminster, a place of considerable manufacturing importance and great intercourse with different parts of the kingdom, Droitwich, with its extensive saltworks, Stourbridge, Stourport, and Worcester.

The construction of a railway in this direction will also lead, in all probability, to extensions into the fertile agricultural district on the west of the Severn, towards Leominster and Ludlow.

The claim of the district, therefore, to the most improved mode of communication can hardly be disputed, and whatever claims canal companies may have from benefits previously conferred, or from past liberality of management, such claims cannot be considered by us in any other light than those of other private interests, unless insofar as they may be based upon public considerations.

The Great Western scheme, on the other hand, introduces a different gauge and different arrangements, and adopts a different line between Dudley and Wolverhampton, so that its existence is hardly compatible with that of the Shrewsbury scheme.

For the reasons stated, we are therefore of opinion that for the purpose of accommodating the great mineral district of Staffordshire, the combined scheme of the Tring and Shrewsbury lines is preferable to any other that has been proposed.

The Tring scheme is equally superior for the local accommodation of Kidderminster, Stourbridge, and Stourport, to which it gives better stations by pursuing a lower level along the bottom of the valleys, and it admits of more easy extension towards Leominster, Ludlow, and the west.

Between Worcester and London it accommodates, as we have already seen, a larger population, and therefore, on the whole, both in these respects and in the important particular of the gauge, it seems to be in itself decidedly preferable to the competing Great Western scheme.

... a Leominster, Massachusetts police officer pulls us over and, you know, I, I'm like, open up all the windows to try to get the weed smell out.

But forget it, right? And so anyway, the cop searches the car.

Remember, yeah, I think it was NBC News did one in, uh, Massachusetts, uh, about how some local cops allegedly kidnapped a, a kid.

I think this was in Fitchburg or Leominster.

A five-year-old kid, uh, from a car because they were trying to lure the, uh, the hardworking residents, also known as illegal aliens, out of the car so they could capture them.

That was the story.

And then it really turned out that the kid had been abandoned in the car 'cause the, uh, the cholos were trying to escape because they didn't wanna lose their welfare payments and be sent back to their third world hellholes.

And so they just abandoned the kid in the car, and the, uh, the ICE agents had to, uh, w-were -- basically rescued the kid from the car, and then they called the, uh, local, the, the local police, the, whether it was Fitchburg or Leominster, and they picked them up.

And, and, you know, this...

And then, of course, uh, you know, the, the lie went around the world in the morn- in the, in, in, in the morning while the, while the truth was putting its pants on.
