Leo McKern

Um, obviously the main characters, Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer, and Michelle Pfeiffer are the big trio.

Leo McKern as Imperius, like I said, that's who I think is my MVP of the movie, and Adrienne-

Mm-hmm

... sounds like you probably agree with me [laughs] on that one.

There's a clunky exposition dump that arrives far too late in the story, and the ending feels a little too muddled and unclear when it should really be the satisfying culmination of everything we've been building towards.

Um, that said, there are certainly much worse ways to spend a couple of hours.

[laughs] The performances are strong, accents aside, with Leo McKern being a particular standout for me.

The world is well-drawn and feels authentically lived in.

Oh, right.

It's Leo McKern.

Oh, wow.

Yeah.

It looks great.

It's the nice setup, the premise.

I love Leo McKernan in most things.

It's just...

His...

And his name is Leo McKern.

He was an, a well-respected and highly accomplished British actor-

Yes

So at the beginning of the film, we see Bugenhagen and Marshall, I think is his name, or something like that, Morgan.

And that is two actors, Leo McKern and Ian Hendry.

They are not listed in the credits.

And that is because when the director was replaced, they both requested their names not show up in the credits in solidarity.
