Leo Espinosa

The first thing is that we have a new picture book together.

Um, it's called My Roller Skates, and the illustrator is the ever-fabulous Leo Espinosa.

It's about a little girl who, um, loves her roller skates and barely wants to take them off, and, um, has trouble sharing them, even when her friend says, "Hey, can I have a turn?" [laughs] So no, actually.

You know, that, uh, it's a, a story about sharing, about, you know, those special things we own as kids, that we have as kids, and how hard it is when we are asked or told to share, um, and how, you know, what that looks like for them.

So today's story is called No Is All I Know.

The story was written by Chris Gravenstein, and the art is by Leo Espinosa, and it's read today by Mommy.

And...

No.
