And I mean, I was always doing that kind of work as a youngster and in my youth and in my young adulthood, but it took a real intentional step in my late 20s and early 30s, and it's just continued on.

And what I've wanted to do is actually a type of portraiture that takes these kind of big story mythological characters and blends them with landscape as well as what holds heart and meaning for me personally throughout my life course.

And part of what happened last summer, kind of at the same time when I want to do this, was an interesting conversation that was with a number of people about AI.

And I was very, very hesitant, but as the universe will create synchronicities even when you're not looking, up in my email feed comes this course, a nine-week course on responsibly using AI as a spiritual practice, which I thought was rather fascinating.

... and kind of rein it in and learn how to use it and kind of create some parameters really released me actually into being able to create a specific type of artwork that was meaningful to me on my personal journey.
