Then, like not long later, it's a few weeks later, we have the famous Tate-LaBianca murders that everyone seems to know about.

The murders at Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski's home, which left the eight-and-a-half-month pregnant Sharon, J.C. Bring, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, and Stephen Parent all dead.

And then the next night, the murder of both Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary LaBianca in their home.

And then months later, one of the family members, Susan Atkins, who was in jail for a totally different reason, ended up confessing to her cellmate.

And that's sort of the reason that everything came crumbling down for Charles Manson and the family.

He was in there serving a life sentence for murdering Gary Hinman, So that was an actor that was killed in 1969 by Bobby Beausoleil when he was a member of the Manson family.

And this sort of preceded the Tate-LaBianca killings.

Okay, so yeah, the next day on the 10th, august 10th 1969 they sort of jump in i think a volkswagen van and they're driving around town and it was said that they were looking for other victims they entered a house um leno labianca and rosemary labianca 44 and 38 they tied the car they tied the couple up and then left and then some of the followers uh went back and committed the murder, killed the people, wrote Death to Pigs and Rise and Helter, I guess Helter Skelter was, that's where they wrote that.

This sort of, you know, according to the police and when you look at the photographs, it looks like ritual theater stage for an audience.

It's... remarkable in the most horrific way so this is far more than just killing somebody it's making a huge visual statement out of the whole thing which once again falls into Hollywood as visual spectacle just saying so this brings us more into the modern connotations and connections we have Katy Perry this is extraordinarily an extraordinary modern Hollywood footnote so Immediately, so right next door to the LaBianca party, which was one of the Manson family murder locations, is a big estate that was, ironically, a convent of nuns, sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, were located in a house right next door to the LaBianca party.
